Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. The egg tray and lid can be cleaned in a normal way. However, the heating plate, which is attached to the bottom of the appliance, can only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Never use an aggressive cleaning agent. Never use a metal object or steel wool to avoid damage to the appliance.
Do not immerse the appliance in water!
If excessive scale is noticeable on the heating plate, remove it with normal household vinegar. Dilute the vinegar with water (1 part vinegar to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the heating plate. Allow to soak for about 30 minutes. Then pour away the solution. Wipe the heating plate clean with a damp cloth.
You always use two measuring cups of water. Fill the measuring cup to the mark indicated.
So it doesn't matter how many eggs you want to boil.

are now medium-cooked". The first and second indicator lights illuminate. After an operation of 12.5 minutes, you will hear another audible signal.
- After a 15-minute operation, you will hear the spoken message "The eggs are now
hard-boiled". All three indicator lights now illuminate.
One minute later, all lights extinguish and the appliance switches off automatically.
